| I LAST VISITED THE VILLAGE IN 10/2007, ALL THEN WAS DOOM AND GLOOM THE GALLERY WAS CLOSING, THE SCHOOL WAS LIKELY TO CLOSE, THE PUB AND POST OFFICE WERE UP FOR SALE, HOW VIBRANT MY BELOVED VILLAGE SOUNDS NOW WITH SUCH AN EXCELLENT WEBSITE. I WISH I WAS UP THERE NOW PLAYING WHIST EVERY WEEK!
WITH ALL THE HISTORY BEHIND THE VILLAGE I WONDER IF YOU HAVE A HERITAGE CENTRE OR A HISTORY SOCIETY
OF ALL THE POSTCARDS I HAVE COLLECTED I HAVE NOT FOUND ONE OF THE FRIENDS BURIAL GROUND OR THE FAMOUS RAILWAY STATION WITH GWR IN ITS NAME. MY 94 YEAR OLD MOTHER AND I ARE VERY FRIENDLY WITH THE PUGHS OF HENBLAS. A LITTLE SECRET IS THAT SWANCOT AND I FEATURED IN A BABY COMPETITION JUST A FEW YEARS BACK, WELL MANY YEARS BACK I DONT KNOW WHO WON THE PRIZES! ONCE AGAIN A VERY NEWSY WEBSITE THANKS FOR KEEPING ME UP TO DATE, REGARDS TONY RUSSELL DEVON
