My grandfather Hiram Longmore Sharpe Connor was born in Twecher, later moved to Kilsyth and then Glenburn Prestwick. He married Elizabeth McMillan from Galston and they emigrated to New Zealand about 1920. I wondered if any of the Connor family were still living in Kilsyth. We are going to be in Glasgow late May and would love to meet anyone from the family. Just to say hello, we could meet in the town and have a coffee.
