I WAS BORN AT 16 BRUNNEL STREET IN 1946. MY GRANDPARENTS WERE MARGARET AND ROBERT HARLE. I HAVE MANY MEMORIES OF TIME SPENT AT THE REC AND SHOPPING THE MARKET ON FRIDAYS. WE ALSO WALKED IN DOGGY WOODS AND FED THE PIT PONIES. MY FAVOURITE MEMORY WAS DURHAM BIG MEETING DAY WHEN MY GRANDA CARRIED ME ON HIS SHOULDERS AND WE MARCHED PROUDLY INTO DURHAM. I WAS BROUGHT TO THE USA BY MY PARENTS WHEN I WAS 13, HOWEVER, WILL ALWAYS LOVE FERRYHILL.
