My great grandmother georgina mary branscombe lived in Grapevine cottage opposite St Winifred's church in the 1930's. She died in Colyton in 1953, where I was born in March 1942. My mother gwendoline irene sandeman nee branscombe knew many villagers, especially the Collier family, as did my brother and I during our many holidays staying in the chalets on the beach near the Sea Shanty. I was born in Richmond House, King Street, Colyton.
