My GG grandfather Samuel Trask, b. 1802, son of Joseph Trask and Catherine Pattemore, came from Merriott to Newfoundland. His grandparents were John Trask and Elizabeth Eason. I hope to visit Merriott in 2014 or 2015. I wonder if I have any relatives there? Would love to hear from someone.

YOU HAVE AN AWFULLY CONFUSED WEBSITE. BOOTLE CUMBRIA IS IN CUMBRIA. YOU CARRY SOME INFORMATION ABOUT THAT PLACE BUT YOU CARRY EVEN MORE ABOUT BOOTLE IN LANCASHIRE NEAR LIVERPOOL A PLACE THAT IS ABOUT 200 MILES AWAY. I WOULD SUGGEST THAT SOMEONE CLEANS IT ALL UP. I LIVED MY EARLY LIFE IN BOOTLE CUMBRIA AND ONLY HEARD ABOUT THE OTHER BOOTLE WHEN I WENT TO UNIVERSITY IN LIVERPOOL.
