Achduart (Gaelic: Achadh Dhubhaird) is a cluster of five houses too small to be termed a village. It is found a few miles southeast of Achiltibuie on the Coigach peninsula of northwestern Scotland, in Ross and Cromarty, Highland. It has accommodation facilities for tourists, who come for its proximity to the ocean as well as its seclusion and remoteness.
Work for us - We are looking for enterprising, community-minded people with time and a digital camera to help populate our local websites.
We are currently working on the Achduart profile and would be pleased to receive contributions from anyone who knows it well.
