Kirkheaton is a village 3 miles (5 km) north east of Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, England and has a population of 4,209 together with Upper Heaton.

England cricketers George Herbert Hirst and Wilfred Rhodes were born in the village and played cricket for Kirkheaton Cricket Club.
