Just found this site. My Great Grandma came from WithyBrook. Her name was Sarah Hannah Elliman. She was born Nov. 18,1850. Don''t expect to find any relatives just want to know about her home town and such. She married Thomas Cowley from the Isle of Man June 8th 1882. Will check this site often and hope there will be pictures of Withybrook. Thanks so much.

My grandmother was Emmeline Standing related to Hedgers of the village and Petworth. She was sent to Canada in 1908 as a BHC. I am searching for any Standings or Hedgers who could be family. Granny''s parents were Albert STanding and Elizabeth Hedger of Petworth. She had several sisters, one of whom died at the Barnardo Orphanage in Barkingside. A brother, Albert was killed in the first war. If you could assist me it would be wonderful for my mother, age 92, to find family.
