Illogan is a village and civil parish in the Kerrier district of Cornwall, England, United Kingdom, not far from Redruth and Camborne. It is known as the birthplace of the industrial age inventor Richard Trevithick and the location of Magor Farm, the only Roman villa southwest of Exeter.[1]
The church is dedicated to Saint Illogan, of whom little is known[1].
In the 18th and 19th centuries, the parish was famous for its mines [2].
The parish has a primary school with about 220 pupils, aged between 4 and 11 [3].
