Abbotsley is a village in the English county of Cambridgeshire. It is situated approximately 3 miles from the town of St Neots and about 20 minutes drive from Cambridge. The church in the village dates back to approximately 1138 and it is believed that there has been a settlement there for a time before that.
Every year there is a scarecrow festival held to raise money for maintenance of the village hall. This involves home-owners constructing themed scarecrows and placing them outside their houses for a week while there are various fund-raising events held.
